• I raised my daughter totally by myself. There is a whole lot on a real single parents plate. Times when she was sick and I had jobs with no sick leave. Not going to work meant no money for food and rent.

• When I was a kid I got grounded. Sometimes I got grounded on top of being ground and then again. It did not do much for me. There were times my mom flat out would not speak to me for weeks; a reprieve from it all. I grounded my daughters electronic devises. First it was the TV.
